No sooner did I post the video interview with La Flor Dominicana's Litto Gomez, than our first LFD shipment from this year's IPCPR show arrives via UPS. I have been waiting for this for a few weeks now. Why? Because this little package contains what might be 2010's front-runner for Cigar of the Year. La Flor Dominicana Airbender.
I have always been a casual fan of Litto's cigars, but they've never been a staple, or go-to cigar, if you will. There are a few cigars that are on my list for top new cigars of the year and Airbender is one of them.
I will post a review soon, but in the meantime, we have Airbender in 3 sizes for now. We'll roll out the carpet for La Flor Dominicana on Friday, September 24th when we host a La Flor Throwdown featuring the new Airbender.
If you want to get a good sense of what makes La Flor a cigar smokers favorite, you may want to opt for one of two samplers currently in stock. The OYA (On Your Ass) Sampler features the Coronado Double Corona Maduro and Airbender Maduro, neither of which are available outside of this sampler, along with 3 other cigars.
